Mold growth from a basement flood after a frozen water pipeline ruptured and was not discovered until it was too late to dry. Several months later it was this bad.
This type of growth is preventable if the water release is detected the day of the release, drying immediately implemented, and wall material moisture is reduced to normal levels within approximately 3 days.
